This refreshingly modern and unique hotel has a prime a location - situated inside the old city walls and just a few minutes walk from the city's central square and York's historic attractions. It has a restaurant, a cocktail bar and free wi-fi throughout. The bedrooms are stylish and boast the highest standard of modern facilities with flat-screen TV's, walk-in power showers with complimentary toiletries, work desks, hairdryers and tea/coffee making facilities. Twin and Accessible rooms are also available on request. Double rooms also have an additional sofa bed which can accommodate up to 2 children up to the age of 12 years. Limited on-site parking is available at an additional charge. Upon Check-In at Hotel53 it is hotel policy to pre-authorise a credit or debit card to cover any incidentals or charges that may be incurred during your stay. Should no incidentals or charges be incurred, we will instruct release of this accordingly on the day of Check-Out. Should you not have a credit/debit card available for this purpose, we can, alternatively, accept a cash deposit of £30, which, providing no incidentals or charges have been accrued, we will return to you on Check-Out. Any exceptions to the above rules are entirely at management discretion and we do reserve the right not to provide you with a room should you not be able to comply with this policy.
