Set in the north Essex country side The White Horse at Ridgewell offers a quiet and relaxing retreat. The separate accommodation at the rear of the pub offers two family rooms, five doubles and two twins. All our rooms are very spacious as are the en-suite facilities. The accommodation has been tastefully furnished and very comfortable. All rooms are on the ground floor and suitable for disabled guests. We serve real ales mainly from smaller breweries straight from the cask and are ranked one of “The Real Ale Pub Guides” top 12 pubs in the country. Our impressive wine selection rivals any pub for miles.Our menu is not posh it’s based on using good quality local produce to offer the customer home cooked traditional English food. Please note we do not serve food on a Sunday evening.
